Abstract:

The published lecture was delivered by an outstanding scientist, academician Alexander Panchenko (1937–2002) at the Philological Faculty of Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute (now the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia) and is devoted to Lomonosov’s poetry. Lomonosov is considered in historical and cultural context: the origins of the poet's creative works, his connection with the baroque tradition, the influence of German authors, aspects of versification.
