Abstract:

The article is devoted to the events of February-April 1949 at the Faculty of Philology of Moscow State University and at the Institute of World Literature. The main source of information is the diary of Ivan Rozanov, who took part in events thoroughly studied on the example of Leningrad institutions (Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University and the Institute of Russian Literature), while comparatively little has been known about Moscow events of that time.
