1987 – graduated from the Department of Philology of the MSU cum laude

1987–1991 – postgraduate studies at the Department of Philology of the MSU

1994 – PhD thesis defense

1991–1992 – professor at the Tver State University

1992–1995 – researcher at the Classical Russian Literature Department of the IWL RAS

1992–2000 – editor-in-chief of the “History of Literature” section of the Novoye Literaturnoye Obozrenie journal

1995 – visiting professor at the Pisa University (Italy)

1995–2002 – leading editor at the “Kanon” and “Kuchkovo pole” publishers

2001–2004 – editor at the “Kommersant” publishing house

2005–2006 – editor at the “Secret Firmy” holding

2004–2007 – senior researcher at the A.S. Pushkin State Museum

2005–2010 – senior lecturer at the Department of Philology of the Moscow State Pedagogical University

2012–present – senior researcher at the “Literary Heritage” Department of the IWL RAS
