Abstract:

The article presents Dmitry Merezhkovsky’s survived letters to Petr Struve, reflecting the circumstances of Merezhkovsky’s cooperation with periodicals edited by Struve — the magazines “Polyarnaya Zvezda” (Polar Star) and “Russkaya Mysl” (Russian Thought). The preface outlines general contours of the relationship between two major representatives of literature and social thought of the late 19th — first half of the 20th century.
